Brutally Honest...

Post by Rocket Science » Wed Apr 07, 2010 8:26 pm

I just raced the new Outlaw game and compared to the last two versions I was really disappointed. You cant race from in the car for one thing. When I race a sprint game I want it to feel like I'm in it. The tracks are way off realisticly. The engine sound is like a leaf blower. I ran about 10 minutes and had enough. I thought all the hype that it was gonna be great. If some of you like it thats great, but if you ever get the chance to run the Boz Sprints, you will go crazy. They feel like your on the track sittin in a sprintcar haulin azz down the shoots at the Grove or Knoxville or Selinsgrove. Ross, I know you guys did a lot of hard work on this deal, and I should just look at it as yours is a sprintcar game and the Boz deal is a real deal sprintcar simulator. Just wanted to voice my opinion and maybe give Ross some input for the next version.
They'll sell you the whole seat but your only gonna need The Edge to see the show.

Well i am confused then too. The only 3 camera views i have are the nose cam, and 2 from behind the car. I will check again to be sure but when i scrolled through there was no cockpit view for me. I hope your not trying to sell us on that nose cam being the cockpit cam.

This is what i am looking for.

There is DEFINATELY an in-car view.. When i turned the game on yesterday for the 1st time in three weeks I got an update alert.. Was this for my system or the game?? If it was for the game, what was included in the update?

Is anyone else's steering wheel compatible with the game, I tried mine and it seems very hard to control, unless there's settings somewhere that I'm missing??
It's better to keep your mouth shut and have people think your an idiot, than to open it and erase all doubt.

Everyone I talked to that used steering wheels said it was terrible and that the controller is the only thing accurate. :ahhhh:
