I still play this game because it is that good but I got bored yesterday and tried something and it was pretty fun.

Get the $66,000 car and put all the attachments on it, then get in a nasty crash so the top wing and nosewing are off. Repair everything but the wings and run the "Local" series wingless. :mrgreen:

ive done that a buncha times when i still played it...one of my careers is cheated, so i got one full wingless and one without a front wing and a few other cars.... :thumbleft:

Wow took some effort to dig up my thread from 2+ years ago ;)

Definitely make the car as loose as possible so you can pick your line more smoothly going into the corners. There are some tracks where it is nearly impossible to run well wingless on. Silver Dollar, I-55, Bloomington and Husets I can make the WoO A main on a regular basis now. It's still pretty tough though on the bigger tracks. I ran the whole WoO Support series and finished 14th in points which I was pretty happy about.
