Beaver's Hockey 2-7-08

Took some photos of Filmer's hockey team this past Thursday. Pretty cool deal, except shooting in an arean/gym is a whole new experience.

Sorry Filmer and the Beav's lost but it was still a close game. Gett'um next year... :twisted:

Good stuff Skinner. That type of indoor stuff is tough without the use of a flash or anything. I really like the one looking down the bench. Sweet shot!!!

Nice shots. The white balance looks great. Did you set this manually?

I was shooting in manual mode and I tried quite a few different settings. I learned a good bit and things turned out better for me the following night when I shot a basketball game.

I'm shooting another basketball game this Friday so I'm really looking forward to trying more on what I've figured out so far.

Beaver Creek Boys.......the Beavers, play in the Western Division, Twin Ponds Adult Recreation league. My brother and I started the team, it was our first year. After starting the season 0-5 we wound up finishing the season 8-8-4. We lost in the first round of the playoffs. Considering the fact that we had a lot of first time hockey players, including some who never skated before in their life, we were very proud of the team and our accomplishments. Great fun!
