Yup I still have it. I had graphic arts in high school my senior year and for graduation my parents bought me a Mamiya/Sekor 500 TL camera with a 50mm F2 lense. It's been packed away in the closet for years and going through these racing pictures I got it out of a box. there is no flash mount on it. I bought a piece that slide down around the eye piece and had double stick tape to hold it to the top of the camera(black marks). I used this till I got my first Nikon probably a FE or FM model. I went to trade it in and the salesman laughed at me and said I'll give you $10. This camera is a tank compared to my D50 and D90. I never had the money to get a zoom lense so I bought a Sear 2X converter for it and had 100mm.

Yes some good memories with that camera. I just wish I had the pictures I took back then. It was a big step from the cardboard box camera we made in class. I cleaned it up and got a roll of film, I'm going to take some pics with it.

My first 35MM camera was a 1955 Argus. Everything on it was manual . The shutter was spring loaded. No batteries were needed at all. I still have it , AND it still takes nice pictures. It sure did teach you how a camera works and how every setting works hand in hand.
