A few friends of mine played their opening gig at a huge private party at an undisclosed location last Friday night. Normally I would have been at the WG opener, but I've been working on this project for a while now and didn't want to miss it. The band is a "Jackyl" tribute band (Type "jackyl lumberjack" on youtube - you'll find it...) It was a peaceful and quiet friday evening :shifty: . If it rains on May 7th, come out to the Tourist inn in Hellam, Pa. and enjoy the show.

That's awesome..... especially the shotgun mic stand. Do they have a website or anything with a schedule? :cheers2:

They have a Facebook acct. which is still under construction. They are adding dates starting May 7th at the Tourist Inn in Hellam, Pa. and will be traveling throughout Central Pa. As they book more dates. It takes time to get things right and they've only been practicing together since the beginning of the year. This was their first attempt playing in front of a crowd as a band together and they sounded good, but need some work. They felt they are at about 75% and want to be as good as they can be before hitting the road every weekend. The large crowd at this party REALLY liked the show and they were really into the music as the night went on. I stopped shooting because of all the people that came down to be with the band on the floor. It was packed...
