The Modifieds used to race at Wayne Co Fair back in the early 70s because on sat Afternnon they would race fairgrounds; then go over to Moc-A-Tek Speedway sat nite; I remember this used to be around 1973-76 ; up to about early 80s like 81; I graduated high school in 1982 and we stop going because My dad got sick with cancer and we could not go anymore; then he died of cancer in 1984 and aftetr that we sold the cottages at Lake Cadjaw :ahhh: Also they raced at Moc A Tek with Coup Modifieds; Sportsmans; Street Stocks and Late Models; ONLY a few Mini Sprint or Micro Sprints there ; it was only a 1/4 mile dirt track in Lake Ville Pa :cheers2:

I have alot of good memories of the Fair back in the late 60s to late 70s with the 1/4 mile track in the infield of wayne Co Fair; they also had Joie Chitwood Thrill Show; Demo Derbys; Jack Kockman Hell Drivers; Motorcycle Stunt Shows; I remember on nite Chitwood went into turn one at fair and totalled a brand new Camero in the rain ; pack up they resumed the show next nite; free of charge; also there were other shows like concerts on the frontstrech stage; mostly acks back in 70s; like Kiss; Areosmith; Outlaws; Lynard Skynard even played there ounce in early 70s; so I have alot of good Memories of that Place when I was Young ;D ;D :cheers2: :cheers2:

I have NOT made up my mind yet because all depends on the weather because I really dont to walk around that VERY WET fairgrounds AGAIN :ahhh:

Buster Keller, who promoted Selinsgrove in the 50's used to promote the fair race at Honesdale. A lot of the Eastern Penn Racing association would compete. Guys like Cat Fisher, Harlan Croop and Al Campbell.

Not sure if they used the Eastern Penn santion or not.
