I was quite disappointed when Daryl's left rear exploded. I was REALLY rooting him to pull off the upset. I'm sure it's little consolation but he ran an outstanding race. Anytime you can hold off Lance at port, you're doing something. Hopefully they can get it dialed in like that again & finish the deal by parking it on the stage.

Daryl drove one heck of a race...really shame about the left rear. Way to drive bud! Pretty impressive to hold off lance and Hodnett at port royal! :thumbleft:

That was definitely a heartbreak last night, Daryl drove flawless all night. Good pill draw, win the heat and lead 20 laps of the feature pulling away from Lance and Hodnett and cut a tire! it just wasn't fair. But thats our luck. The crew has been working very hard all year and with good sponsors like Victory auto, TC transport and Jakes Carts we'll keep fightin and hopefully putt"r on the stage !

Just from reading the tweets they are tired of being penalized just beucause they choose to go race an All Star or Outlaw race somewhere else on Saturday night for more money then when they come back they get penalized for it.

The 1s team new they would be penalized for 2 weeks but the thought a TT show would count as 1 of those shows. Lincoln did not count it as such and penalized them this week as well which upset the team. Sucks we wont get to see Logan running at Lincoln any more except bigger shows, but can understand why they are doing it.

I'm actually surprised Fred went back to Lincoln when he knew he'd be penalized as well, instead of coming to Port with a chance at a good starting spot.

:bdf: I would think Logan would be at Lincoln next week to compete with the Allstars.

The whole "penalize the teams with the desire to compete in better-paying races for the benefit of the others" is stupid and goes against every rule of customer service. Racing teams are the show, without which there would be no paying fans. Pi$$ off enough of them and sooner or later, your show will be at another track. No one says the other teams are not allowed to go to those other races and it could be said that they are in fact "cherry-picking" by not going. So where is the foul that requires a penalty?

I think how Port Royal runs their show is great. It is equally fair to every team in attendance.
