I just wanted to wish Jim and Steve a safe trip and good luck as they started their long trip to New Zealand out of Harrisburg Airport this morning. Steve and I are going to try and stay in touch while he is down there so any updates that I can get I will surely pass them along.
Their first race will be this Thursday February 14th. The next two that they will be running will be held Saturday, February 16th and then Saturday, February 23rd. Good luck guys and make the Posse proud!

Probably not gonna be at Lincoln on the 23rd since they will be racing that night(which is our early morning) in New Zealand. I don't even know if Steve will be at Williams Grove that Sunday.

I ran into Steve and Jim this morning and shared the same flight to Chicago. I talked with them for about a half hour before boarding and offered to by them lunch between flights but they only had a 1/2 hour lay over.

They both seemed very excited to be invited over. They were a little unsure of possible lessure activities but just knowing them the little I do I'm sure they are both in for a great time. Steve was hoping to run the midget over there but didn't know if they could work out the details.

Best of luck to two great, young local racers

We have a couple from New Zealand that come over several times during the summer, and this past summer they were actively seeking drivers to come over in our winter. While at Susky, the first person I mentioned was Steve, and there were instantly impressed. From what I heard, word went around fast that this guy was really good in a midget. I think a lot of people will have their eye on him over there :-)

Good luck to both of them!

Are Buckwalter and Siegel sending there own cars over to New Zealand or are they driving cars prepared over there? I aways wandered about these kinds of arangements when a US driver goes downunder for some winter action.
