The 410 guys in western Pa would love a purse like that!

Here is Lincolns payout....I think the Groves is simular but not sure though

1,000 to win
600 Second
405 third
320 fourth
280 fifth
255 sixth
245 seventh
220 eigth
210 ninth
200 tenth
175
165
160
155
150
145
140
130
125
125
120 to start the event
120
120
120

So $200 to start the feature is pretty good for the 358s... compared to $235 lincoln pays there 410s to start a feature.

:thumbleft: Good Job Charlie! Maybe the Grove will do the same for the 358s since they have a great back gate and also a new title sponsor in Bass Pro Shops.

This is great news :!:
Lincoln usually gets a lot more 358's on Saturday's than Selinsgrove. It will be interesting to see if any drivers switch tracks. I kinda doubt they will. That's good for the Selinsgrove regulars.

Yeah and don't forget the Grove & Lincoln pay their 410s $3,000 to-win. Selinsgrove doesn't pay that for their Late Models.

Great job Charlie! That's a nice weekly purse for 358's. It's great to see a promoter that gives as much as he possibly can to the raceteams and also makes constant improvements to the facility. :thumbleft:

don't think anyone is comparing it to a 410 purse......also the admission is quite a bit lower at SG so percentage wise the nitely payouts are probably pretty close

And your point is?????? That made no sense. Your comparing apples to onions there.

Anyway, this is actually old news. This was decided late last year, but just now announced to the public. You definetly have to respect him even more by holding out till now to announce it. If Charlie would have been a back stabbing promoter like some in this part of the country are known to be, he would have announced it then with hopes of stealing cars from the great track in the south. But that's not his idea of thinking. It just amazes me how some of these promoters outside of Selinsgrove, will not work together. Boy,,,some of the stories I've heard from the meetings of these promoters in the past would blow you away. Nice job as always Mr. Paige.
