Not a bad day for Opening Day standards. Track was hard and slick but racey, mostly in turns 3 and 4. Rahmer was moving up through the field until he tried to pass Hodnett on the high side going into 3, Hodnett drove it in deep and Rahmer slid high, guess Hodnett didn't forget what happened last year?? There were the expected yellows and reds but it didn't look like anybody tore it up too badly. Let's do it again tomorrow!

Really?? Rahmer moved from 19th up to the top 5 at one point, Leppo, after dropping back a few spots at the start got on the move and was up to 2nd. Had they gotten into lapped traffic I think it would've been very interesting. I didn't say the track was great but it was racey, especially in the middle of the field. For a day show I'd say it was above average but maybe that's just because I had not seen a race for 4 months

that's funny because when i was on the track after the feature my feet where still sticking to the track. it can't be hard if my feet are sticking to it. :dontknow:

the track was in great shape today. mr. putney did a great job once again. that was the smoothest i have ever seen lincoln speedway.

In my opinion, that was a great track surface for a windy day race.
