Bags are packed , Tilton Hilton is 2 feet away from the van hitch . Some food in the crock pot . Hopefully the word will be good in the morning and I can get outta bed around 9. Shower , beer , propane , and I'm headin south for some racing . The waking time will be the toughest . If you are worried about the weather , I'd switch to chess , isn't that played indoors? :dontknow:

 This AmishJack-AZZ guy obviously don't know how hey operate at the Fabulous Lincoln Speedway They are always setting "Higher Standards" :broccoli:  . I for one like the fact you can count on Lincoln doing everything they can to race. Rather than comming up with some lame excuse not to race ;)

"Heavy snow will spread through the Ohio Valley, with heavy rain moving through the Eastern States".

I just don't get it that people think weather guys are wrong all the time. Like I've stated before, they are only telling us the info that the computers are telling them, to tell us. Be your own weather man and watch for yourself, the green and white and pink colors that usually move from west to east on the live doppler radar. If you have any math skills, you can even figure storm distances and how long the green will be over us. David Copperfield really can't snap his fingers to make those colors go away. He also can't make the 3+ inches of rain that has fallen the past days miraculously evaporate.
It's reality. I want to see the dirt flying as much as anyone this weekend. Hope you guys can get them in, but I'm sorry to say it sure does'nt look good.

Lincoln always makes the extra effort to make it happen!

if you are in a crisis because gas costs more than last year, attending races might not be advisable even if the weather would be perfect. your family budget should come first, entertainment is secondary.

I know what the weather.com and weatherundground.com are telling me but is there someone who lives in the Abbottstown, Hanover or nearby areas that can give a first hand account on how much has fallen down there and what it's looking like ?

With a 2 1/4 hour drive at $3.15 a gallon I need more data to make an educated decision here and the government has already shot down my personal weather spy satellite. :ahhh:

It is VERY,VERY wet here in Spring Grove, and I can hear the cars at Lincoln from my house when they run.

I know we all want to see racing, but I don`t think they can today. :(

Yeah,I guess we have to set our sights on next W.E.

Don`t look at the long range forecast,though-it looks almost like a carbon copy of this weeks,so far :ahhh:
