Knoxville is kind of like the Indy 500 of old,in that you will find all the tickets are spoken for. You have to find them on the secondary market.
Unless things have changed lately.

Wrong!!

You can get tickets right up to raceday, including raceday. People stand outside the gates and sell tickets all week long also.

The place was NOT a sell out last year, there where many open seats in front of me on the backstretch, like sitting there I feel you can see better, but others may like the front stretch.

You can check their website and see the seating chart.

That chart clearly states what is available. Didn't BillW post here awhile back that most of the upper tier front stretch good seats were already gone??

I know that can't be true as I have two extras unspoken for 2008 on the front stretch in a fantastic area behind the start finish line unobstructed with extra seating space. :jiggy: :cheerleader:
Dirt's for racing, asphalt's for gettin' there!

Yes the Frontstretch is a resevsed for the locals and the people who had them the prevoius year. Most of those seats are bought up by scalpers and sold along t-shirt alley during the race week. As far as other tickets I got two extra in front of me lastt year two weeks before the show and a motel room a week before. It's not unthinkable to get good seats, because there are not any bad seats!! Your at Knoxville!!

here's what i got from the speedway back in august so it it's available now it must be first come first served.

Tickets go on sale December 1 on the internet but at the office on December
3 for all four days only. Individual tickets go on sale on May 1. Fans who
purchased tickets for all four days last year and paid for them before
November 15 have first choice in purchasing their same seats for 2008 but
have to pay for them before November 15.
My OPINIONS are just that and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of anyone or any track I am associated with!
