2007 Knoxville Tournament of Champions Now on Race/Network

New York, NY, 4/10/08 – In this week’s edition of the Knoxville Raceway Highlights a special race is ready for viewing. The longest 360 race of the year at the famed half mile is the 30 lap Tournament of Champions. In the event Kaley Gharst drove past a fast Chuck Swenson and held off a late charge by Jeff Mitrisian to get another big win. Also in this edition are the 360 and 410 Knoxville Cups events from 8/25/2007. Two drivers got there first wins at the track on that night in dominating fashion, Chad Meyer and Dion Hindi. Check out the first time winners from 8/25/2007 on racenetwork.tv. In just 9 days the 2008 Knoxville Cup Season starts at the Sprint Car Capitol of the World, Knoxville Raceway.

Remember every Thursday evening, 2 new weeks of racing from both 2007 divisions will be uploaded to the servers to stream, on-demand, to you. These ’07 highlights will run each week leading up to the start of Knoxville’s 2008 season and then get ready as race/network will bring you weekly 2008 Knoxville highlights.
