John, I'd love to help you out at the track, but my cancer illness prevents me from doing that. I can do chassis help via the phone and computer. It works with me and a sportsman guy. Hardest part is getting good track feedback from whoever is doing it. I have 32yrs exp being crewcheif and head wrench on 358's, sportsman, and super latemodels. I wrenched Chad Criswells 358, Matt Boland's 358, Mark Yinger's 358 and Bill Albright's 358, sportsman, and super late model. All I can do is offer my expirence to you and if you want to try it that's fine. If not, I understand and there is no issue with that. Let me know in a pm and we will go from there.

Awesome people. Parked beside his dad last year at the flea market. Struck up conversation, very knowledgable and dedicated to seeing his son do well.

I'd just like to say this about John, he is exactly the type of guy my family goess to the track to see... He is 100% about racing and 100% about the fans... My 13 year old son has 4 pictures hanging on his wall in his bedroom still to this day, all of him sitting in John's 358 when he ran it at the Grove... After every race my boy would make a point of going to say hi to John and the first thing John always did was pick him up and sit him in his car, it didn't matter how busy they were trying to pack up so they could hit the road for their 2+ hour trip back to Jersey...

Just want to add my 2 cents. The Barnetts are good people. Very nice to talk to when I am in the pit area. :thumbleft:

Wish I knew more, would love to help. I have just been watching sprint for 18 years but only experience is with late models. Best of luck to you with the team and future races.
