No Stevie Smith or Brent Marks. Probably no Montieth either.

Ryan Smith and Dave Blaney have confirmed they will be racing again this year. Ryan Smith will be signing autographs prior to the event.

Also, the conflict with "another race track" on October 17th is being worked out.

There should be no conflict on Oct. 17. Port scheduled and cancelled this race last year to get along with the Grove and they are not racing that night this year and neither is lincoln. I would say if anyone else scheduled 410's that night all Port should say is "sorry about your luck".

I don't know the details, and it may be that "someone else" is moving their date, I just know something is trying to be worked out.

And btw, I do agree with you.

I think it would be the other way around no offense, would suck to be Port because guys are going to support Rahmer. Glad its being resolved though 410/URC show will be great at Port.

I realize that The Dream Race has been a sprint car show since the beginning. And I also realize that 95% of the fans show up to watch the sprint cars.
But, since they are honoring a great late model car owner and a great late model driver as living legends this year, I feel that they have dropped the ball. $2100 to win for the late models is sad, compared to what the sprints are getting paid. I feel that they could have done a lot better for them.

BTW, I am also a sprint car and a loyal Port Royal fan.
