Second video....the fuel injected 2 of Abel and Flack tiger car were mowing them down!

The one car (not Paxton) was a little wide on the track....... :naughty:

That is good racing! Susky was about the right size for good racing!

Fantastic videos!! :yessss: Love to see those oldies but goodies, and thank you very much for sharing them with us. In the first video, I don't believe that was Hal Browning in the Kenny Beck #14 (yet). Bobby Tester ran the #14 early in the season , and with no leaves on the trees I'd say it's early (or late). Also if you look close the driver has a red firesuit on. Bobby had one like that ( He called it his Santa suit). In the second video I believe that's Paul Miller in the Kenny Appler #76 not Willie Musselman. Willie is seen driving the red and white #12 you see later in the video.

Loved the cars Bobby Tester drove they were always so sharp looking, metal flake paint and chrome headers. I always liked the Gastrok towing 12 also, very sharp car. :thumbleft:

These are my videos I took during the 1965-66-67-68 racing seasons. I narrated them 20 or 25 years later because I didn't have the equipment to narrate them when I put them on VCR tapes. I know there are some mistakes on drivers and cars. I guss my memory wasn't as good as I thought. The entire DVD is around one hour in length. I'm glad you enjoyed the short segments posted on this web site. I did not post them; they were posted by someone who I gave copies to. I have no problem with them being posted and I'm glad you enjoyed watching them.

Loved the semi lates. On that second one I see the 400 of Slim Devilbliss, the 5 of Bob Gerhart, the 19 of Larry Hare and although I cannot get a real good look at the 9 it is either Gene Saine or Ken Slaybaugh. I think it is Slaybaugh.

That is Paul Miller in the No. 76. The shirt gives it away. Man does this bring back some great memories. Steve Bubb

Easily done Bob, drivers jumped around cars all the time back then. Things haven't changed much. I loved the video, days of the bugs bring back special memories...Thanks. :thumbleft:

Don't know if the video reflects it but the Susky opener in 66 was very cold, my cousin froze his feet at that race.

After watching this video several times, I think the #1 car is Paxton. This should be the Sholley Cycle Shop car he ran in 66 + 67, big block Ford on four barrel. He later sold it to Jim Wilbur.

Lynn Paxton, Ree Smith wrenched big block Ford. Won a lot of races with this car.
