Bob Bender in the orange #17 and Larry Gorman in the 7-11. My first ride in a dirt car was on kids night @ Selinsgrove in the Dale English #39 55 Chevy Painted like a 57 Chevy. Will never forget that night.

Well, my introduction to racing in the late-60's/early-70's was limited to Hesston Speedway since that is where my dad raced in the Novice division. Don't know how much I actually cheered for him, but my "favorite" was Jim Nave. Just really liked how his Mustang looked. My dad knew "Red" Vaughn, so he's a close second.

Ed and Jim were banned from the KARS curcuit. That's when they came to Port. I liked the whole family.

Ron Fox..... in the late 60's-early 70's Jim Nave was still running a Torino.
