Last but not least one of my all time favorites and good buddy Clair Stough.
Had Clair on the phone not too long ago and he still calls me what he always did back in the day when i was about 8 yrs. old. "Hey HotRod"

Langhorne, where Johnny Mackison set a new 1 lap track record at over 100 mph avg. in 1962

My parents were friends of Shorty Emrich and he gave them the silver cup Mackison won for setting fast time.
My parents have both passed away and they ask us to give the cup to the EMMR, so it is now on display there for all to see.

Picture number 4 is one of the reasons I didn't get much sleep in 1965. :laughing7:

Thanks RSCA.. :thumbleft:
Not sure of the track on those two 1080. I was a little young to remember more than highlites
that stick in my mind. Ken could probably help you out on that. Clair Stough i do remember well because he was a family friend and we use to take my quarter midget down to his farm to run it. Clair was the champion of the rollover contests they use to have. He usually ran a stripped down Hudson in the sportsman class.

Really Steve!!! That is interesting since i don't ever remember seeing him race. Could be but Ken should know that for sure since it is his photo. Most of my early memory of Toby was in the very early Register 6
