Although i am sure in this one the 39 is Ed Zirkle. Ed was hard to mistake in the drivers seat with his polo shirts.

:thumbleft: WOW!! Great film, Thanks for sharing these old movies. If the W.G. film was in 1966 , yes that was Ed Zirkle in the Trones Sunoco car. I also believe that's Bobby Brymesser in the Kenny Appler #77. :thumbright:

Grove was 1966....Hagerstown should be 1967..

Zirkle in the 39...Tilley in the Trevis built 88...Brymesser in the 77...Weld in the 94 car....Surniak in the light blue 1 car.

Hagerstown segment had a lot of the Swarmer #1 racing with Grum in the sidewinder 66.

Strawser has good stuff from a great era!

The Hagerstown Speedway race is from April of 1968. Ray Dovel had a two-race win streak heading into the show. Bobby Allen passes Milt Miller on lap six. In the late laps Dovel and Elmer Ruby challenge. Allen wins over Dovel, Ruby, Buddy Armel and Bill Ulsh.

Buckley Rees wins the semi-late main.

This is some cool footage.
