Now that right there is a little piece of "the good old days". The old mods, especially Tasnady's coach body, really bring it back for me. The old coupes and coaches - that, for me anyway, was the golden age of modified racing.

There was nothing better than going to Reading & watching those heavies get around that place. All different & crude creations. The Paulsen car they used to tow in the back of a converted garbage truck.
Deasy's Donkey.
Kenny Brightbill used to use about 10 pcs. of the rubber that you would have left after grooving your tires for throttle return springs.
A car that had Superman logo on the side that had a chainlink steering drive that Doug Metheny drove for awhile up there. The 3 minute light to stage for the heats & feature.
The scales with lights, red or green for pass or fail.
