This is Mert Stine at Lincoln. here is an interesting tidbit. Mert's car number was the year. In 1964 his car number as 64 in 1965 it was 65. The only time his car number did not match the year as 1966. Harry Fletcher had 66 so Stine stayed with 65

The Flying Barber, Eddie Zirkle. There were two Flying Barbers. Do you remember the other one?

The Answer: Don Davis. Davis drove the No. 21 Super Modified.

Was this car later sold to Don Trenary and driven by Donnie Varner?

The picture of Fred Locke is at Fredericksburg. Left is Pete Troutman, Bob Troutman, can't remember the guy in the middle, Dave O'Hara an John Cekovich. Dave and John owned the 6 cyl. Chrysler.

Thank you, Steve. I had confirmed this with the Trenary family. Dru Trenary (Don Trenary's nephew) had told me this a few years back. When Dru played football, his number was 65 because of this car.
