Thanks so much for posting these pictures and allowing so many of us to re-live a very special time in our lives and in racing! The #880 sprinter going into Lincoln reminds me of my introduction to sprint car racing. I used to see it and Elmer Ruby's 'Swallow the Leader' #711 do battle at Port Royal speedway - those were the days!

The #666 of Bobby Bottcher brings back great memories too since his coach body mod reminds me of the 'golden age' for modifieds which included the beautiful coupe bodied cars. Frankie S, Rags Carter, Will Cagle and many, many more used to put on quite the show with their 'heavies'.

Great, great pictures and fantastic memories!

i remember some sort of tri-angular type wing on Wikey's car,but not that one,might you have a r/s pic?. i also remember the next T-Bird Howard had,one the sharpest late models ever,at the Spring's.
