Felty drove this car in 1962....

Did George Speck drive this some?

I believe Gerhart was in this car in 1964....maybe some in 1963.

Oh......I love the shop pictures! :bdf:

Boy do those photos bring back many childhood memories of that part of town. When I was eight yrs old I spent many summer days at my grandparents home, just a few blocks away from that gas station building in the background. It was Billy Gettle dad's gas station and I would ride my bike down there hoping the garage door was open where they kept the car or it would be sitting outside like in the pictures. I was always eyeing it up beacuse I thought that 77 was real sharp car. In another post we're asked about remembering our first race. My dad knew Toby, Gettle, and many of the other Lebanon County racers, and my first recollection is driving through the woods, parking among the trees, and sitting in the Hilltop Speedway grandstands...very little at the time, but always remembered the red birch beer sodas I would get at the track. The Gettle gas station building is still there as a used car lot & shop. The building in pic 4 was right next and was a laundry mat and is still there....I think it's a beauty salon now.....put a lot of laps circling around that bldg..racing my bike pretending I was the next great dirt track racer. Thanks for the good pics and the good memories.

The motor in these pics is not a chevy, it is a y-block Ford
