I don't think F.Linder or Herbert, but just my guess as well. I missed very few at the Grove in that time period but the years and cars sometimes run together. Anyone have a positive ID on the X?

I think the X was Jim Linder. The guy behind Allen Senft with his back to camera was named Cork , and the guy with cigarette in mouth was his buddy.

The 55 is not Randy Kohr-Randy was racing flat track bikes the year I shot this. #55 the name Bob howell(spell check) sticks in my old mind :laughing7:

The 55 is Gene Frankowliack who posts on here and is the owner of Dave Elys car now.

I remember Mike Herbert in the orange flying X in the 80's, but not the 70's. I'm thinking the car in the pic must be one of the Linders. I could certainly be wrong though. :mrgreen:

Alan Senft looks like the lead singer for the rock group Sweet. :laughing7:
