Hey everyone,

Tomorrow, Sunday, October 19, EMMR is going to have a roundtable on former Pennsylvania speedways. I am going to be leading the discussion and I hope you will come out. I was going to cancel due to being really ill this week but I need to get out of the house. Looks like the old Gall bladder is giving me fits.

I am going to cover former tracks from outside our area. It will be a look at the tracks of the northern region, the Wilkes Barre - Scranton area, the racing around Erie, the amazing PRA of Pittsburgh and the great circuit in the Dubois - Clearfield region. Wow, how many times an a person use the word "the" in a sentence, I think I just did!!!

Some items of interest - the greatest racing promotion ever "the amazing frog races" It was event that today all the animal rights groups would have a fit over. What track had the best food - there is one that stands out. Two big crashes that no one saw. What speedway had deer grazing along the back stretch for many years? What track had the best name ever - was it Satan's Bowl of Death or The Cliffs of Death?

I hope you come out and we will have several hours of fun. Bring your questions or if you are looking for the location of a former track I will try to help out. It all starts at 1
