Nice photos!! I'm a big fan of the 'old school' look to the numbers/lettering...

Love those old modifieds, especially the coupes. Those cars had character!

The "Velvet Jet" is SWEET. The other cars are nice looking too, thanks for posting.

are these cars painted in "classic" schemes to resemble cars of the past or are they just whatever someone wanted to paint? if they're "classic" does anyone have a photo of one resembling 1959 Jimmy Findley? or an actual photo of that car would be better yet. he won the only Penn-Mar race at Selinsgrove
My OPINIONS are just that and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of anyone or any track I am associated with!

Scott, these are classics, no doubt about it.
The #31 is Aaron Brommer. Aaron raced a few cars with this same paint scheme in the 70s. He races now, and he races to win. The guy is still a competitor, and very successful at doing so. This car is actually a 1982 chassis, its the car Paul Koch drove at Big Diamond.
The #97 is an original Bobby Bottcher car. It has a few different drivers these days such as Vince and Brian Gagliardo. Very fast car, has quite a few wins over the past 2 or 3 years.
Pretty sure that Larry Felty 77 is an original. Car is restored and certainly is a beauty.
The Stew Wenrich car was built in 1987 if I am not mistaken.
Great stuff, would love to see more of these pics.
