The first one came from Al Hamilton but unfortunately it got destroyed at Williams grove when some cars tried going 3 wide into turn 3. They then got another big block chassis (frame only) from Rich Eichelberger and put that car together with the parts from the Hamilton car. Both cars were driven by Tom Spriggle.

The frame in question is definitely the Eichelberger frame, it has the cockpit sissy bars, the unique post mount for the rear shocks and the rear radius rod mount has 3 holes, you can see it originally had only one hole and two more were added.

Jim,

Car is coming along, was able to get the motor stuff finished and found an original old style Ben Cook hood for it.
Working on the paint now, frame will be black and hood/tail will be Wimbledon white, wings will stay aluminum.
Don't know if I will have it ready for end of August or not but will be done this year.

That thing looks cool. I loved the way sprint cars looked from the early 80's to the early 90's. Big fuel cells and non downtube chassis. Nothing better.
Way she goes.............
