I always remember Kenny Weld in this car, but seem to see Paul Pitzer in all the pictures in the 29 car and Weld in the 92 car.? And I don't seem to see any Weld -Weikert Tribute cars or anything else of that era? Kenny won a lot of races for Mr Weikert but most pics you see are Pitzer- Weikert . And Kenny changed the whole Modified thing when he built his reading car and that was a 29 car..

Thanks, I've since confirmed the 29 in the back ground is Pitzer.

My Opinion Paul Pitzer in the Weikert car & Leroy Felty in the other 29.

The Weikert car has Kenny Weld's name on the hood.

Weld is definitely in Bob's car. The Smith 29 doesn't look like a Trevis, maybe a CAE or Edmunds. Could be Leroy, I don't think it's Pitzer, not George Ferguson, Jr., he was too young when this was taken.

Weld for sure in the Weikert car. He is an easy driver to tell in the cockpit..I will go with Felty also in the other 29..

Pretty sure Ferguson never used an open faced helmet. Also don't think the driver is large enough to be Gary. I'm going with Leroy.

Don't remember the other 29 shown...but I do remember Leroy well....it sure looks like Leroy other than he had a silver helmet I believe in 1974-75ish...unknown at this time since this pic is a year or 2 before that.

After some research, the driver of the other 29 is Rick Schmelyun. The date was April 15 th, 1973.
