RIP Donnie Varner

Post by 1080 » Sun Jul 20, 2014 10:01 am

Former Newville racer and mechanic Donnie Varner died Saturday, July 19th. He drove his familiar number 44 and the modified Anthonys A1. He also wrenched on the Larry Jackson cars for many years after ending his driving career.

Nothing beats the old points based handicapping system.
Draw and TT shows suck.

RIP Donnie. I often think of what kind of season he would have had at Reading if he had not broken his wrist. Toby took over the ride and the rest was history !

I believe Donnie told me it was s freak accident under yellow? Someone clipped his front wheel and the steering wheel spun and injured him.
