This upcoming Sunday (June 28), all drivers, teams, and fans are encouraged to attend the first ever Gold Mine Raceway Reunion at the Orwin (PA) Fire Company. It is located about one mile from the site of the former speedway in Tower City PA.
Gold Mine closed back in the 60s, but the 1/4 mile dirt track is remembered by many. This will be your opportunity to chat with some of the drivers and listen to many of the great stories that they provide. There is no doubt that plenty of history will be presented at the upcoming reunion.
It takes place from 9AM until 2PM. The fire hall is located shortly off of route 209. Please check the Coal Region Racing facebook page for complete details on this event.
