Reliving the past (1962) in 1/24th scale

The first photo was posted here by 1080.

From the 2nd photo on, these are 1/24th scale models. The three models in the rear 77, 1, and 39 are my models. The front three models 2, 1, and 6 belong to a friend and fellow model builder.

Good work! The 6 looks like the 1963 6...Am I correct?

The picture is from mid to late 1962. We still have no clue who was driving the older number 1 in the photo....The only drivers missing who would have been typically in this bunch for a heat race is Sowers and Folkenroth....

In the "Do you remember when" post above, by RT88, I remember seeing a photo of Dizzy Dean at the Harrisburg Auto show standing beside a #1 with a dark bottom, and white top. Could that be him?
