According to an article in the Harrisburg Sunday Patriot-News Sports section today, Boyd Kane has signed with Caps/Bears for 2009-10.

He was back with the AHL Phantoms last year but with the Phantoms moving out of PA now that the Spectrum is closed, he wanted to stay in PA.

New Head Coach

Hershey fills coaching vacancy
Mark French, the Hershey Bears' assistant coach the past two seasons, has been promoted to head coach of the Washington Capitals' American Hockey League affiliate. Troy Mann has been named the Bears' assistant coach and will join French behind the bench as Hershey defends its Calder Cup championship.
