I am sooooo sick of hearing about steroid use in baseball everytime I turn on the radio or tv! I say let them do it! It may catch up with them later in life and I guess that is a risk they are willing to take! Now let me say this, if I drive several hours to a baseball game, pay to park, pay to get in, pay for food and beverage my fun budget will be blown! So in return I want these players to do what ever it takes to get me my monies worth! They are under tremendous pressure to perform each and every time they step into the playing field or they get replaced, so I find it hard to fault the player for doing what ever it takes to perform! By the way 420 I was a huge wrestling fan years ago, but I can't take much of it today ( I only watch if I see the undertaker)!

I gave my 2 cents, please don't rip me apart as it is just my opinion!
I appreciate your opinion bmot...........and I basically agree with you. Now let me ask you this............do you feel the same about racing?? I do. Just take the rules away, so we can watch guys innovate and try new things, new fuels, new fuel delivery systems, new materials, etc. I think it would be interesting to see.

Racing steroids = Nitro
Or in Michael Waltrips case, jet fuel.

My philosophy on this beaten dog issue is this, and I agree with David Ortiz.

Test each and every player at different times throughout the season and offseason. If they are on a roster, they get tested. Plain and simple. The major sports in America are multi-billion dollar industries, they can afford the testing. Hell, the Yankees payroll could probably pay for every athlete in sports to be tested numerous times for a few years. If they test positive, they're done. Year long ban for the first, lifetime for any thereafter. Then, they can try to find real jobs like the rest of us when theyre dream falls apart.

I dont believe in second chances for athletes. They are highly talented, yes. However, the rules are the rules. You know them, dont say you dont. You do the crime, you pay the time. It's a priveledge to be an athlete, to play on the biggest stages, to get paid ridiculous money to play a game. Your fate is in your hands.

On a brighter note, I just scored some DBall from my buddy.

He says I should be benching 625 within a month.
