Penn State tickets

I am hoping to make a few trips to see a few Nittany Lions games this year and was looking for some recommendations on where to sit, which games to attend, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! :thumbleft:

The upper sections on either end are great seating and viewing. But especially the south end above the student section is better. They are actually seats with seat backs and arm rests. I believe these seats are about $10 more than the others, but well worth it. Thats the only place the wife and I will sit. Makes it nice because everything is happening right in front of you, no looking back and forth.

But over the years I have sat at many different locations and really there are no bad seats throughout Beaver Stadium. Pending the game you are planning to attend, just be happy to get a ticket.

As far as which game to go see:

Here's my 3 for 2009:

September 26 Iowa - 8:00 p.m.

October 17 Minnesota - 3:30 p.m.

November 7 Ohio State - Time undetermined

The only other advise would be leave early, plan to tailgate and have fun. Pending the start time it is always fun to visit downtown before a game. Plenty to see and do with a lot of other great PSU fans!!

I don't think there's a bad seat at all at Beaver Stadium! The price of any of the seats is well worth the scenery also. I'll be missing the first 2 games this year due to other commitments but will be up to State College for the rest of the home games. For the Iowa game we're skipping out on Carlisle on Friday night and staying in Happy Valley for the weekend.

I think the Ohio State game is probably going to be a 4:30 start because the Big Ten banned night starts after November 1st.

Best seats... with 5wFan, ground level in the North End Zone with the Dance Team just off to the right! :cheerleader:

Watching the game from there is pretty awesome too!

No problem here and I'm not exactly the smallest guy.

Thanks guys. I'm hopin to snag some tickets to the Ohio State and Iowa games but I'm sure they are sold out at this point. :ahhh:
