Usually the biggest game of the year is the white out game.

It's a white out game because of what happened last year... not because it's the biggest game of the year. If my memory serves me correct, there is usually more than one white out game a year depending on how the season is going....

That's not 100% true. The other year I went to an OSU/PSU game and it was in November at 8pm. College GameDay was there that day.

The game you are talking about happened on Oct. 27th, 2007 when the Bucks whipped us . They were ranked No. 1 at the time. Not one I want to remember, but it was still an October game.

Not stadium wide, that only happens once a year.

06 - Notre Dame
07 - Michigan
08 - Illinois
09 - Iowa

Although the students do it for each and every game now.

I don't believe that, neither do most of the students.

Have you ever been a student at PSU?

Nope, but just talked to a student the other week and he mentioned that after last years Iowa game, they wanted this game to be the white out game at 8pm and wanted it to be the biggest game of the year.

Nope, that's not the game. The game I am talking about was in 2005 and is the game that PSU upset OSU in Happy Valley, causing riot police to surround the field to stop students from entering it.

The team lost too many players from last year to go undefeated.

Of course not. But the team lost too many players from last year to go undefeated.

So you really don't want to see them in the National Championship game... ?? HAHA

Want to take my wife to a game this year (she's never been) Anyone have suggestions how to get relatively inexpensive tickets. Scalp them on game day? Craigs list?

Go to the Eastern Illinois game on Oct 10. Should be able to buy scalp tickets for less than face value.
