Luckily they get a few cupcakes (as they do every year ) before they get into the meat of their schedule, because the quaterback play was less than stellar.

12 games on the schedule 8 home 4 away. Im sure glad they are saving on gas money in Happy Valley :thumbleft: I bet Joe Pa is planning on the Rose Bowl game being moved to Beaver Stadium since they seem to be afraid of travel outside the Commenwealth of PA :dontknow:

Clark was 29 of 40, 353 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int
Newsome was 3 of 4, 26 yards, 0 TD, 0 Int

I'll sign for that right now in every game the rest of the season. If that's less than stellar, we're in for one fine season.

Ditto. For Clark, that was the 5th best passing game in school history.
Running game was flat...except for the fake punt. Hopefully that part of the game will turn up a few notches before the Big 10 schedule kicks in!

I just thought Clark looked a little off on his accuracy not that he played terrible. Anyhow i only watched the first half so i have no idea how he looked in the second half.

Berts- Thank You for the link to Penn State ticket exchange. I have been shopping for Iowa tickets for a month now and finally found them at a Great price. Got enough money left in my budget to buy an all white outfit. :pinkelephant:

Enjoy the game! It's an awesome sight, being part of a stadium white out game. Heading out to Happy Valley in a few minutes for the Temple game. :cheers2: Then onto Selinsgrove for the 410 show! :pinkelephant:

Wow, you were running late. We were in Happy Valley by the time you posted that.

I can be in Happy Valley in 1 hr! Avoid the crawl over the 7 Mountains via Bellville (Route 655) to Route 305 to Route 26 into State College. I also know some backroads near the stadium to bypass most of the traffic heading to the parking lots :cheers2:
It was a great day for a game, although Penn State's offensive line needs serious improvement for the Big 10 schedule.

Did he really come out? He left during the 3rd quarter 'cause it was cold and rainy. Some fan.
