The Nittany Lions opened with easy victories over Akron, Syracuse and Temple, but given the competition, there still was this question: How good is Penn State? Turns out, not as good as many thought. :bananadance:

No excuses from me. Unfortunantly, you can't score all your points in the first quarter and expect to win ball games. Plus, you can't throw 4 interceptions and expect to win games.

Iowa isn't that good either, PSU gave up in the second half, you could see it clearly!

I can honestly say that last night was the coldest and most miserable I have even been at a game. It sucked!

We really need 3 different topics about Penn State losing? One doesn't suffice? :rulez:

Losses happen, we all knew they weren't the No. 4 team in the country after losing 12 starters from last season. I'm as disappointed as anyone, but losses happen....next week is another game.

Why does PSU suck after losing to Iowa? Iowa was ranked in week 1, they have a great defense, and also have the nations 2nd longest winning streak. I believe PSU should have beat them, but they shouldn't be embarrassed by the loss.

They should be totally embarrased the way they fell apart in the 4th qtr.

Well lets just say that Saturday night i took my fiance to state college during the game to dinner and a movie and on the way home we hit all the traffic and i could not help but chuckle being in PSU traffic with a Big UofM sticker on the back of my car! I guess that was bad timing to yell "WE ARE.....PENN STATE" Some people didnt think that was to funny  :redpepper:

I remember when Penn State always had a good offensive line.

PSU hasn't had consistently good offensive line play since '94. As I recall, the o-line coach (name escapes me  ) left after that year, then when the rest of his line graduated after the '95 season, PSU started on this trend of one good line every few years.
