That's a lot. That only leaves 3 for the rest of the year against the Nats. :laughing7:

No. When you play a team that crappy, you should score those runs. The Cubs are worse than the Nats. And this is coming from a Cubs fan. :shifty:

All good though, the other team from Chicago won yesterday. :thumbleft:

I'll pass. I have spent way too much money on other things this year for me to possibly pi$$ away money on some stupid baseball bet.

However, I do think I'm right. The Cubs are horrible. They need sold to someone who really wants to spend money and get real players on the team.

Spending money isn't the problem. Can you say 3rd highest payroll in baseball two years in a row?

The Cubs are one of those teams that just have a culture of losing.

But what do they show for it? At one time, about 7 years ago the club could've been sold to a candy maker in Chicago. My uncle is the accountant for the company who wanted to purchase the team. Had it been sold, good players would've been brought in and this discussion probably wouldn't be taking place. Too bad they couldn't come to an agreement.

They have nothing to show for it. But don't say they don't spend money. They just spent it on the wrong people.
