Tonight's game might have to start late as the one glass panel was broken in the pre-game skate, and the crew is cleaning it up!

The Bobby Clarke Ceremony is coming up next!

First off, I know I got the horse wayyyy before the cart here, but this is the best chance for a Flyers Cup in a long long time...SOOOOO Bring on a PARADE.. :bananadance: :redpepper:

TIG, agreed...right now I'm hopin' the Flyer's run don't go through....TAMPA :laughing7:...But I also agree with D-Pak, that in a 7 game series the Flyers will be alright..

Boucher has always been a great back-up until playoff time. Then it just seems he gives up that one back breakin' softie thats a morale/momentum/game killer...

So far I love Bob, I'm havin' flashbacks to Pelle..Bob does look lost at times, but still has more good games than not..

I'll take Laviolette's intensity, over Steven's blank stare any day..

Did I say...BRING ON A PARADE... :bringiton:

Worry not Piney. Boston is reall hitting their stride right now, and from what I have read, they were ready to pick up Versteeg. Homer acted quickly and stole him out from under them. A good move if you ask me. I like how the guy plays.

I'd trade him to Boston immediately if they gave us Thomas!! :pinkelephant:

I didn't know Boston was after him, we definatly didn't want him in Boston's line-up. I too like Versteeg's game, been following him since Chicago and under any other circumstance would be happy to have him. Right now its just that chemistry thing thats bothersome. But...two games...two wins....ROLL ON ... :bananadance:

Being a long time Flyer fan, I'm so shell shocked on goalie's I don't even know what to say about Thomas...Other than I'd take him..I don't think the Flyer's have had a legitimate # one since (my all time favorite sports figure) BERNIE  PARENT...

Hexy was my best. :pinkelephant: Any goalie that wanted to fight more than your team goon is OK in my book. Was watching the Edmonton/Flyers finals the other night (1987?) Hexy was an animal!! He used to sharpen his stick!!

Obviously for pure Greatness.........Bernie was/is the man. He was recently the Commishiner of Wing Bowl. Classic!!

I am hearing.........from my very connected sources..........that Boosh is the man once the playoffs come around. We'll see. They need to stay healthy, keep rested and hit their stride when the playoffs come around.

Do you mean this Ron Hextall:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0XvVmBH0R0

or this one:
http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/6343
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtCGc_6nxfk

OO How I miss Gene Harts voice.. :(

I had to go back and look at Hextall's stats, I guess his numbers were better than I thought. Maybe my view was scued because no Cups came with them highly talented teams, and I put the blame on Hextall and Clarke. I couldn't blame my boy Lindros'.. ;) ..I know, you and Grammy hated him...lol...

Healthy+Rested+Goaltending= STANLEY CUP

I met Bernie at a Hershey Bears game one night (back in the 80's)...I was so in awe, I believe I talked liked that babbling reporter. And I didn't even have a stroke :cwm4: .

It was Bernie, The Hound and Gillespie <<SP?..sitting up in the nose bleed section..This was wayyy before the sellout crowds the Bears get now..
