Vick did the crime and did his time. He has paid his debt to society. That being said, it doesn't make me think he is any more of a person, or rehabilitated, or remorseful for what he did. Making dogs fight each other for your own entertainment, and then killing these innocent animals by electrocution, strangulation, or drowning illustrates to me the lowest of low, and to me represents a deep psychological problem that losing 20 million dollars and spending 1 1/2 years in jail doesn't fix.
In my eyes this is one bad dude who feels he is above the law. Need I remind everyone about the shooting that occured at his birthday party this summer?? Rehabilitated?? Changed?? I guess if Tony Dungee says so!!
Do yourself a favor and look up the quotes from Vick after he was named the Ed Block Courage Award winner last year, and look up what the Ed Block Courage Award is about............truly sad. The Award has been tarnished forever with Vick as a recipient.
The Eagles have shoved the "Gold Standard" talk up the fans a$$ since Jeff Lurie and Andy Reid have been around. Claiming to only hire high character players, and then like a cheap crack whore, grabing Vick for a bargain basement price with hopes he could somehow turn back into the player everyone knew he could be. I have no doubt that the Eagles management sleeps soundly at night...........they're snoring all the way to the bank. It does, however, say to me what kind of people they are.......business first, than we'll talk about our standards.
I knew it would happen, but it sux to see fans of the Eagles turn into fans of this felon and this team after a few wins. I hear allot that they're just rooting for the laundry..........I just can't do it.
