Day 1

Post by 1080 » Mon Feb 07, 2011 7:56 am

Green Bay Packers.....13 time and reigning NFL Champs!

Good game to the Steelers though....lot of determination and pride. I honestly thought early on that the matchups would lead to a Packer blow out. The Steelers can't cover at all and I thought Green Bay would harass the pee out of the Steeler Offense.

Good game for two very proud organizations. I was pleased to see the humbleness on both sides. Coach Tomlin and McCarthy are class acts. The players all are pleased to play for the city's they represent.

For most of you who don't know me...I can assure you that I was calling for Rodgers to start well before Favre started playing his head games with the Packer organization. I have bled Packers for over 50 years.....probably have missed very few games they have been on TV.....yes there was TV in 1960. I still remember Tommy McDonald running up the snow bank for the Eagles after a TD catch....but 4th and a million stung more.

Brett....Take that buddy....You Purple Trader....maybe in a few years the Cheesehead Nation will accept you back and put you on the wall at the Tundra.

Mike McCartney had the Packers fitted for rings Saturday night, that is awesome.
