Taylor had a resurgent season.
Although he's not a star, Taylor is known around the league as a sound tackling presence and solid cover guy.
And the Steelers have already launched contract talks with Taylor, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Following a Super Bowl run, the Steelers plan on keeping their team together.
"I think we still have a core group of players that we can build around and hopefully make another run at it," Steelers president Art Rooney II said.
Added middle linebacker James Farrior(notes): "I love this group. "There's still a lot of football in us, and we've just got to stay together. Hopefully everything will work out in the offseason."
I also read in the post gazzett that they are planning on using the franchise tag on LaMarr Woodley and then work out a new contract with him
