Not surprised a drunk is your hero Nugs. Just like you has has not done squat in years.

I don't care who it is, to compare anyone to Hitler is just ridiculous. In case you where drunk or High during history class you might want to go and find out who Hitler was and what that guy tried to do a whole race of people.

The first part makes me laugh. If you listened to his music you would realize that he is constantly recording music and releasing albums. Oh yeah, he's been sober for 4 years now.

As for Hitler, if you payed attention during history class you would know exactly why that man did what he did.

Hey at least he admits he is a racist. Not to many people have the grapefruits to admit that one.

I heard that ol' Bocephus did something wrong.  Oh, he spoke his mind.  Well, "speaking your mind" in the United States of America is upheld in our Constitution.  We, as a country (not just a select group of people), from time to time exercise this right:

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to theUnited States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging thefreedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Obama and Hitler was an analogy.  A poor one but, nonetheless, an analogy.  Seems the only folks who wanted to blow this out of proportion is the media (what a shock).  The USA Today had a poll about the Hank Williams statement.  Sixty eight (68) percent simply don't care.  And, another 4% are undecided.  Come on.  We have nothing better to do than bash an old country boy for his political views.  Hmmmm....maybe there is more to think about. Thank God our current president wasn't in office during the 30's and 40's.  We would have been overrun by Nazi's while our president was busy trying to schmooze congress into getting off their collective asses and doing something.
GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS BOCEPHUS.

I guess things have got so nasty that a Dem and a Rep can't even play a round of golf together? That's sad. Different political views is fine but calling the president Hitler. That's just stupid. What a nitwit. Hank obviously damaged his brain when he fell off that mountain.

Listen to the interview, he didn't call the president Hitler.

Guess folks don't understand the definition of analogy. Anyway, since this topic continues, during Hitler's reign, you wouldn't dare use an analogy comparing Hitler to a person that didn't fit the Nazi movement. You'd be executed. I'd certainly rather be in a country where, within reason, we can voice our opinions. That's what makes opinion forums interesting. We are permitted to discuss topics with various views. We may not agree with each other but, I would hope we all agree, it's great to live in a democracy where we can be part of this type of thing.
