Still not sure what everyone is talking about, the whole picture shows up fine on my screen.
The pictures are just fantastic :thumbleft: I don't think I have ever seen such great color, it just jumps out at you. Excellent  The blue on Jimmy's car is superb, some of the cleanest, clearest shots I have seen. :cheers2:

I went back and edited all the image tags so they are enclosed in link tags so that if you are one of the people getting hosed by this new forum layout, you can simply click on any photo and it will open the photo full size into your browser window. Then just use your back button to return to the forum thread. D@mn shame we need to do this but I'll do it from now on on all my photos for those that are only getting half the photo.

IT IS FREAKIN' UNBELIEVABLE TO ME THAT HERE IN PA AND ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD WE ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE SOME OF THE MOST TALENTED AND PUBLISHED PHOTOG'S IN THE BIDNESS.............AND WHEN THEY WANT TO POST SOME OF THEIR TOP NOTCH WORK............IT GET'S CROPPED BY THIS FREAKIN' MESSAGE BOARD. SURELY THERE IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO FIX THIS!!!! Thank you very little.

It is due to the oversize photo.

if you have a widescreen monitor like I do, the photos are fine. However anyone who is still on a legacy out of date monitor will have problems.

I have added a temp fix that will allow oversized photos to be viewed in full via a scroll bar.

but the best thing to do is post the large oversized photos in the new photo gallery and not in the forums.

The solution to the problem has already been pointed out in this post -------> (Looky here Admiral) ------> http://www.williamsgrove.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=14491&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=30#p169949

Or they can just choose a default phpBB template that allows horizontal scroll bars for images that make the page too wide instead of just truncating the image :compsurfing:

This was never a problem for anyone in the old layout and I'm posting the same photos I posted before. No difference in resolution or dimensions.

I don't believe in compromising on size or quality/resolution so any help you can offer/have offered is greatly appreciated by us photographers. :thumbleft:

I don't believe this screen theroy as I have a 2 year old Compaq 19" flat screen and all the pictures are chopped in half! I spent two weeks scanning around 200 pictures a friend gave me that show local racing in the 50's and 60's with the idea of sharing with everyone on the board! I tried to post them and they get chopped in half, I then posted links and they got very few views, so I have decided until this miserable new board goes back to the fantastic, easy working board that it was, I will not be posting anymore of these pictures!

BRING BACK THE OLD BOARD!

Sorry for venting, I'm just thouroghly disgusted with the new board right now! It has taken all the fun out of it for me! :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:
