The Modifieds didn't take long either.

Tonight will be better for the local guys...'cause, it can't get much worse.

At least most of them made the field...IMO it could get ALOT worse.

Typical track of dragging things out, but these sprint car delays have to stop, there is no reason for it. Never pre-staged, never ready when called..The midiefieds and late models are down over the hill with no P-A system, but they are always in the pre-stage area, and given the one to go signal as soon as they pull onto the track.Never given time to clean out there engines, warm tires or argue over starting spot.

Wonder how that red clay would work up North? Looked like the track held up great after all that racing. Maybe the cool weather helped? :shifty:

The track was not dusty at all the whole weekend! The late models once again had the best racing. The sprint speeds again were amazing and it was once again a great weekend!

I sat in Sec 108.....IT WAS VERY DUSTY!!!!!!! I haven't ate that much dust since I was in Outer Banks NC. and standing on the dunes in 60 mph winds eating sand!!!!! wow! Needless to say I left feeling very full!!!!!!
The wind did play a major factor as it was blowing towards the main grandstand all night. I forgot about it after Hodnett charged from 16th to 5th in the sprint feature and Eckert won the late model championship!
Already planning to get my tickets for next year. I would recommend a ticket to this show.....what a great time!!!!!!!!!! just remember to bring a pair of goggles and mask to keep the dust out of your eyes and nose/lungs.
