It may pay as much, but it's not as meaningful...

Enjoy the show...I'll watch for updates from the camper at the Grove.

The guy who mows the grass up there said hes going to Lincoln. I thought you should be prepared.......Go Leppo!

How bout the 6 extra races that Lincoln has over Port this year paying a minimum of 18,000 and thats just the winner's share. Do those count or should I go to Port every week because they are the Saturday night track that has one race which pays the most? I need to know so I can plan cooler carrying assignemts. :dontknow: Go Leppo!

Oh good. Glad you brought that up.
How about the extra 6 races of wear and tear?
6 races is a third of the way through a motor cycle
6 races is another 3k in tires
6 races is another 1k in fuel for the car
6 races is another 500 or 600 in pit passes for a crew
6 races is another couple hundred at the car wash
6 races is a couple hundred in fuel for the rig
6 races is another few hundred in misc. maintenance costs.

But I guesss those don't count. As long as Lincoln has more races it's better.

Regardless, I hope to see the outlaws there this year.

By the way, how's your Kyle Larson talent gauge working?

Lets keep this thread on the right track, Lincoln having a WOO race!
The tracks facilities would definitely get tested with the size of the crowd.

Lincoln has a 410 show on May 10th, so May 9th wouldn't really make much sense. Unless they would have a Wednesday AND Thursday night 410 show in the same week

They are dropping the May 10th show in favor of the May 9th WOO race.

The place will be a zoo and you can expect it to be pretty much the last hurrah for the Outlaws at Lincoln. Love to see them race there, but this event has outgrown Lincoln a long time ago. A week night show may make it work.

Last time The WoO was there , they put up signs at the gate , Standing Room Only ;) That was before the infield was open to the likes of Myself :laughing7:

yep 1998 and Rahmer put a whoopin on them boys that night. Won his 7th straight race out of 12 that year.

if they put all the campers in the overflow lot and they don't take up an acre for each camper like they do at williams grove it would be fine, also have some organized parking in the east and west lots you would be amazed at how many cars could park there. this is a mid-week show so the crowds won't be the same as they would be on a friday or saturday. the biggest problem is keeping the idiots out of the reserved seats! :cheers2:

I'm sure if they were racing at Port. instead of Lincoln your attitude would be totally different.

why dont they park all the campers in the over flow lot so no one cares how much room they take up and let peopel who come to watch the races and spend money on food and drink have plenty of room to park and will make it easy for us to get out of the parking lot. cause if u have a camper u are not leaving so no need to move cause u will be staying so take a msall walk and we will have plenty of room for every one to do what they need.

I'm parking my camper at Williams Grove. Does that suit you? :laughing7:

Glad I spent the extra 40$ for my reserved seat. Worth every penny if Lincoln gets this deal done

Lincoln is better to some, not all. Port is better to some, not all. Been that way for 50 years and its never going to change. The drivers dont seem to mind the six extra races because they keep showing up, and to me thats all that matters in the end. I didnt miss one of the 4 WOO races that Port had the Thursday before the National Open years ago, and I most likely wont be missing the WOO at Lincoln either. Its been a long time coming. As for Kyle Larson, my opinion hasnt changed. If only I could see him race for him to try and change it. Go Leppo!
