No one. Your seeing the same show either way just a different track. Hell id pay 60 to see the first WoO show here in 14 years.

i think the Grove, Lincoln, Port shows would be great. but maybe add to the mix the best average pa finisher a few extra bucks to entice some of the drivers to try and make the field. or maybe try and do a split weekend were the Grove can run their 2 night show then next weekend have Lincoln and Port split the weekend.

That would be great but would the Grove extend the same courtesy and sit idle on Friday night like Lincoln and Port do for their Saturday WOO shows? Also would Lincoln or Port schedule the WOO on a weekend since they'd have to pony up the whole purse and sanctioning fees?

If your worried about Port getting a show in that situation why can't Port host a race on a weeknight the next time WOO comes into town Can't be that hard to figure out

Outlaw prices keep going up each year no matter which track they are at. It wasn't that long ago we were paying $20 admission, now $30. :buttkick:

Grandview always charged around $30-$35 for a WOO show. So for Linky to be charging $30...it's about normal price.

Linky needs to charge a little more since they can't seat as many people as a big track. JMO ;)

Back when I was a card-carrying WoO member (courtesy of Bob Weikert) in the mid-80s through mid-90s, one of the benefits of membership was a cap on pit pass cost - $10, if I remember correctly. An exception was granted to the New York State Fairgrounds for the October Ground Round Supernationals - they only sold a four-day pit pass for $85.

There is another reason why some local tracks don't have WoO shows. I'm told that a former track financial officer has an old agreement with the WoO that is still in effect and states that he has the final say on sanctions for the central Pennsylvania tracks. I find that hard to believe but I've heard about this several times recently.

I'm going to pass as I still find it hard to believe and don't want to spread what might just be a false rumor. But if it is true, most folks will find it incredible!
