Theyve got some work to do if it actually happens though. They need better/ more walls around the turns

 You haven't been there....Concrete at Eldora is as solid as it can be, extremely unforgiving....Apparently you did not read the article, Nascar said they would waive the safer barrier rule if this race happens.

I'm wondering if pit road is actually long enough to stuff 36 pit boxes down the frontstretch. If it is, it will certainly be crowded.....
What will track conditions be like after 300 laps??? Can you say "rubbered up"???? :laughing7:

From one of my buddies down in Charlotte, he says that the way it would be handled would be like the old days with the Truck series, a 10 minute pit stop at half way where it would not be the normal zoo on pit road.

There will be alterations to the way the Trucks are run on a few tracks for next year. They are looking at adding back in some of the older short tracks like Concord Motorsports Park, Greenville Pickens, Myrtle Beach, South Boston and Eldora to the schedule for next year.

I've also heard that they are considering a Road Course (maybe Mosport) for the Trucks, I think this would be AWESOME. Dirt tracking and road racing, this is one reason why I like the trucks better then the Cup cars.

Awesome vidoe... Never really watched too many truck races so I don't even know if they televise all of them, but I certainly hope they do this one!

Think NASCAR should let them add some Lexan to the rear and right side of the trucks! :laughing7:

I saw in the video the truck they used still had a windshield but they added a small section of rock screen onto the front of the drivers window... Think they would have to take the windshield out and go with a rock screen and helmet tearoffs for the actual race? Wouldn't that windshield get pretty mudded up once you have another truck in front of you?

I'm going to watch this race only to watch all these drivers wreck when they try and go 3 wide in a corner. If anyone thinks this is going to be anything but a wreck fest on a really bad racing surface you are nuts.
