Kyle Larson

Post by taurus014 » Sat Feb 23, 2013 4:41 pm

For you returning from the race, Kyle Larson was leading the Nationwide race with 13 laps to go but was involved in an unbelievable crash on the last lap. Kyle is ok and climbed from his car and was fine. Kyle was launched into the catch fence and the entire front end was sheared off and the motor and front tires landed on the grandstand side of the fence.

Tony won the race and was more concerned about the fans and drivers. Cool move Tony.

We need to remember the injured fans and their families in prayer. We all know in the back of our minds that things like this can happen and has happened in the past but we as real race fans feel for those injured. I know that there will be a few that make comments that won't be appropriate but the majority of us in the racing community care about each other. Thats what I love about us racing fans.

Here is the video from the grandstands where the tire landed. There is some language in the video but nothing graphic.

heard an interview with someone sitting 2 rows behind the guy that got hit with the tire and he said it threw him into the next seating section. hoping everyone ends up ok from this
My OPINIONS are just that and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of anyone or any track I am associated with!

Nascar basher with incorrect information. There are videos on pretty much every website you go to including youtube. Plus ESPN has videos from the track and the spectators. Please, if you don't like Nascar then don't bash on a thread like this when more thought should be given to the injured.

And by the way, anyone here gonna tell me this is the first time in motorsports history that fans have been injured?? No, it isn't.

Joe Gibbs has to be smiling from ear to ear. Very class act on "Smokes" decision.
