Just some notes from Wednesday night. 37 cars. Jacob Allen had car issues all night. Logan made the show but ended as a DNF. Austin Wheatley crashed in time trials and was done for the night. Both Buffalo Wild Wings cars made the show with Hafertepe and Clauson. Kerry Madsen and Paul McMahan had a great race for the lead. Paul eventually got him as did Steve Kinser. Madsen and Brad Sweet made contact battling for third sending Madsen through the infield and back up the banking in turn 1 in front of the field collecting Jason Sides. Kerry wasn't "happy" as he got out of the car.
McMahan was the winner over Steve Kinser, Brad Sweet, and Joey Saldana.
Also 30 late models and 39 IMCA Modifieds. The Nellis Air Force Base is right across the highway from the track and the Air Force Fighter Jets were flying overhead all day and all night. That was actually a pretty cool sight as low as they were.
Johnny "may" have been referring to Clauson last month as he did say the USAC Champion will be running more with the wing this season.
